NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED~ALL WOMEN WELCOME
Women from across Marathon County will come together to build strength, confidence, and affordable housing for local families through Habitat for Humanity of Wausau’s annual Women Build.
Whether you’ve never picked up a hammer or you’re a seasoned DIYer, Women Build is for everyone. Habitat staff will provide all the training, tools, and support you need. You’ll spend the day building alongside other inspiring women while making a lasting difference for a local family.
What’s Included in Each Volunteer Shift
- Hands‑on construction experience
- Safety instruction and guidance from Habitat staff
- Women Build t‑shirt
- Breakfast and snack
- The opportunity to help build hope right here in Marathon County
Registration is free. A $35 suggested donation helps cover the cost of your event t‑shirt and breakfast.
Who Can Participate
Women of all skill levels: individuals, friends, workplace teams, church groups, and civic organizations. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to support affordable housing in our community, this is it.
