Guest Experience Volunteers help create a welcoming, dignified shopping experience for individuals and families visiting the Community Closet.
During Community Closet hours, volunteers will:
- greet guests
- assist with registration (familiarity with iPad helpful, but not required)
- offer wayfinding support while shopping
- connect guests to additional community resources when appropriate
By helping neighbors access free, essential clothing, volunteers play a direct role in easing household expenses and supporting financial stability. Program staff are always on-site to provide guidance and support. This role is a great fit for volunteers who enjoy meeting people and making a meaningful, people-centered impact in a fast-paced setting.
