1:1 Literacy and Math Tutoring Program Volunteers

Tutoring volunteers play an integral role within GiGi’s Playhouse by facilitating educational and therapeutic skill development activities and connecting with families. All training is provided and you will have access to a vast library of resources to help you teach participants skills. The Literacy and Math programs are both individualized to each participants unique interests, skill levels, and needs. Literacy is designed to improve participants language (both written and spoken). Math programming is built to develop skills from basic number, shape, and color identification to multiplication and division. These programs serve ages 3 to adulthood, and volunteers must be 16 years old or greater.
