Description

Help young learners build confidence, curiosity, and essential skills. As an Academic Success Volunteer, you’ll support Boys & Girls Club youth in reading, STEM, robotics, and hands‑on science — creating breakthrough moments that help kids believe in their own potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Support reading and literacy activities that build foundational skills
  • Assist with robotics, coding, and tech‑based challenges
  • Participate in environmental STEM exploration through our Ultimate Journey program
  • Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group support tailored to each child
  • Encourage persistence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners

Who We’re Looking

For You don’t need to be a teacher or an engineer — just someone who cares. Volunteers should be patient, encouraging, comfortable working with kids of different ages, and excited about at least one area: literacy, STEM, robotics, or environmental science.

Why Volunteer With Us

Academic confidence isn’t just about grades — it’s about a child believing they are capable. When you sit beside a young person and help them work through something challenging, you’re not just teaching a skill. You’re showing them their potential is worth someone’s time, and that message lasts far beyond the lesson.

Time Commitment: Weekly commitment with flexible scheduling during open hours.
