Empower Older Adults Through Peer-Led Fall Prevention
Impact: Your lived experience and encouragement help older adults stay safe, confident, and connected. As a Peer Leader, you’ll co‑lead the Stepping On workshop—an evidence‑based program proven to reduce fall risks by up to 30%.
Role: Stepping On Peer Leader (Trained) Agency: ADRC of Central Wisconsin When: 1 session per week, 3 hours, for 7 weeks Where: Community locations across the region

You help older adults build strength, balance, and confidence
What You’ll Do:
Co‑lead weekly workshops with another trained leader or staff member
Support group conversations and activities
Encourage participants as they practice new skills
Training & Support:
Complete Peer Leader training (provided)
Lead one or two programs per year, depending on your schedule
Work alongside another trained volunteer or staff member
Who Thrives in This Role:
Adults 60+ who enjoy connecting with peers
People comfortable speaking in front of small groups
Volunteers who care deeply about senior safety and wellness
