Be Amazing is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to support our Day of Discovery — a special one‑morning event where local youth learn about 10 different nonprofits and the missions that strengthen our community. Volunteers help create a welcoming, organized experience that inspires students and highlights the power of service.
This is a 5–6 hour, one‑day commitment, perfect for anyone who enjoys event support, youth engagement, and community connection.
Where: D. C. Everest Senior High School Auditorium (6500 Alderson Street, Schofield, WI 54476) and the adjacent Greenheck Turner Community Center (6400 Alderson Street, Schofield, WI 54476)
When: Thursday, October 22nd, 8:15am - 1:00pm
What You’ll Do
Greet students as they arrive at the high school auditorium
Direct youth to their assigned areas and help keep the morning flowing smoothly
Welcome nonprofit presenters and assist with their setup needs
Support event setup at both locations
Help with pizza lunch setup, serving, and clean‑up
Assist with end‑of‑day cleanup at the Greenheck Turner Community Center
