Museum Greeters – Woodson Art Museum
Greeters at the Woodson Art Museum serve as the first friendly face our visitors see. Help us to warmly welcome guests to the Museum by offering information on current exhibitions, providing general orientation to the space, answering visitor questions, and keeping an accurate count of daily Museum visitors
Training to become a Greeter consists of one-on-one orientation with a Museum educator and two shifts shadowing one of our more experienced volunteers. Each shift is either two or two and a half hours long and Greeter scheduling is flexible based on volunteer availability. In addition, enjoy volunteer trainings where you will be introduced to the current exhibitions and upcoming programming, regular appreciation events, and other perks!
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. If you need accommodation or have questions about accessibility, please let us know. We are committed to creating a positive and welcoming experience for all.
