Who We Are

About Us
Since 1976, Mobile Meals has served the greater Wausau area by supporting older adults and individuals who are disabled, recovering from illness, or unable to prepare meals on their own. Through the dedication of volunteers and community partners, we help ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious meals and the support they need to remain in their own homes.
Our mission is to promote good health among the elderly, convalescing, and disabled members of the greater Wausau area by delivering hot, nutritious meals with the help of volunteers.
Our Community
Mobile Meals is a community of neighbors helping neighbors. We believe that a meal is more than just food. It is a connection, a check in, and a reminder that someone cares. Our volunteers are at the heart of this work. Whether you deliver once a week or help as your schedule allows, you are more than a driver. You are a friendly face and an important part of someone’s day.
What We Do
Home Delivered Meals Program
Our Home Delivered Meals program provides hot, nutritious meals each weekday to neighbors throughout the greater Wausau area. Meals are prepared in collaboration with Aspirus Wausau Hospital and packaged by volunteers, then delivered to clients’ homes. Meals are tailored to meet a variety of dietary needs. Each delivery is more than just a meal. It is a friendly check in and a moment of connection that you help make possible.
