Why This Role Matters
Every weekday, a volunteer team packages hot, nutritious meals for older adults, people with disabilities, and neighbors recovering from illness. For many recipients, our delivery might be the only interaction they have that day — your kindness makes a real difference in their sense of safety and connection.
This is a simple, high‑impact way to support independence and help people remain in their homes.
What Volunteers Do
- Package hot and cold lunch items prepared by Aspirus Kitchen staff
- Organize meals based on delivery route
- Cart lunches to the Delivery Driver pick up area
- Report any concerns to the Mobile Meals coordinator
- Packaging takes about two hours, and the process is fun and easy to learn
Schedule & Flexibility
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
- Typical commitment: One day per week
- Very flexible: Substitutes are always welcome

Training & Support
- Clear instructions and support provided (this is a 2-3 person job- you're never alone!)
