We are a nonprofit Child Care Resource & Referral agency serving families, providers, and communities across Adams, Clark, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Marquette, Portage, Taylor, Waushara, and Wood counties. Guided by our mission — empowering those who care for and nurture children — we work to ensure that every child is prepared to thrive.

We are community‑based experts who help make child care work for everyone. We connect families with regulated child care options, support current and aspiring child care professionals, and share local child care data that strengthens community planning and decision‑making.

Childcaring helps families find child care, understand how to pay for care, and choose programs that meet their needs. We offer information on average child care rates, local data, and child care options for businesses.

For providers, we offer business start‑up support, regulation guidance, environment and safety setup, policy and procedure review, continuing education, and referrals to help grow programs. We also share wage and benefit data and professional development opportunities.

Childcaring partners with community agencies to address complex child care challenges and provides additional free resources, including resource materials, early care employment links, and regular updates through our quarterly newsletter The Resource Connection and weekly Early Care Resources & Information email.

Together, we help families find care, help providers thrive, and help communities build strong, sustainable child care systems.
