The progress at Sara's Garden has been remarkable — and now we have to keep up the momentum. Join us for a follow-up workday as we put the final touches on this beloved space and keep it beautiful.
Building on the incredible effort our volunteers have already put in, this workday will focus on completing our planting and any remaining cleanup and beautification to make Sara's Garden everything we know it can be. Every pair of hands brings us closer to the finish line.
Whether you were part of our first workday or this is your first time joining us at Sara's Garden, all are welcome. Come see the progress for yourself — and help us get it over the finish line together.
What to bring: Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed-toe shoes, water, and sunscreen. Tools and gloves will be available on site.
Can't make it, but still want to help? We're accepting donations of the following plants to complete the garden:
• Approximately 10 hostas
• Low-growing ground cover such as creeping phlox, creeping sedum, ajuga, or creeping jenny
If you have any of these growing in your own garden, we'd love to give them a beautiful new home at Sara's Garden. Please contact Sabastian Yaeger at syaeger@monkgardens.org to arrange a donation.
RSVP: Please register through Together Marathon County.

No account yet? Reach out to Sabastian at syaeger@monkgardens.org, and we'll take care of it.
Thank you to every volunteer who has made Sara's Garden something to be proud of.
We can't wait to see you there!
