Faith in Action Marathon County (FIAMC) helps seniors age 60+ stay safely in their own homes. We provide essential services, including transportation to medical appointments and shopping, food pantry deliveries, and friendly visits.
We are currently seeking an Intake Volunteer to help welcome new seniors to our program.
In this role, you will:
- Meet with potential care receivers - either in person or by phone - to assess their needs and ensure our services are a good fit.
- Go over our handbook and answer any questions they may have.
- Make sure they know our procedures and policies.
- After the visit, you’ll provide a written summary to our office.
There’s no ongoing commitment—you can volunteer as often or as little as you’d like, giving you full control of your schedule.
