Faith in Action partners with The Neighbors Place to deliver food pantry items to seniors in Marathon County who are unable to leave their homes easily. Each care receiver is provided with two bags of groceries, delivered twice a month on Wednesday mornings.
We are currently seeking substitute drivers to step in when regular volunteers are unavailable due to illness or vacation. Routes typically take about 1.5 hours and include 4–8 deliveries, organized by location in Wausau, Rothschild, Schofield, or Weston.
Volunteers must be available to pick up pre-packed grocery bags from The Neighbors Place between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
Permanent routes may become available in the future.
