Become a "Friendly Visitor" with Faith in Action and help local seniors stay connected to our community. Social connection is a vital part of mental health, and your calls or visits can help a senior feel valued while sharing their unique life experiences.
How it works:
- We'll match you with one or more seniors to call or visit regularly.
- You choose the schedule that works for everyone - whether it’s once a week or once a month.
- Enjoy building a new friendship and helping a neighbor feel less alone.
There’s no ongoing commitment—you can volunteer as often or as little as you’d like, giving you full control of your schedule.
