Looking to stay active while Being the Good for the Environment?
Join us in taking care of the environment by keeping electronics out of the landfill through this community electronics recycle event! Looking for volunteers of all ages above 11, who would enjoy working with others for a 4 hours shift in a warehouse setting. We will provide everything you need to feel prepared and supported.
Key Activities:
1. Customer Service Greet customers, fill out customer form, advocate for Good News Project
2. Lifter/Sorter: Unload cars to wagons, weigh electronics, sort electronics into shipping containers
What to wear: Dress for the weather so we suggest layers. Wear comfortable closed-toed shoes. Electronics can be dirty so please plan accordingly.
Screening requirements: None needed, however, sign up is required prior to event.
Physical requirements: Ability to stand for 4 hours, lifter/sorter required to lift 50lbs.
