Be the first face guests see when they walk through our doors. Welcome Center volunteers are the heart of the guest experience — greeting visitors, answering questions, and helping members feel right at home from the moment they arrive. If you love people and want to play a meaningful role in your community, this one's for you.
What You'll Do
- Greet and welcome guests and members as they arrive
- Scan Membership cards and assist in the membership signup process
- Provide information about the gardens, events, and membership options
- Collect and record membership information, with occasional steps outside to assist guests
- Help create a warm, inviting atmosphere for every visitor
Who We're Looking For
Friendly, outgoing community members who enjoy connecting with people. No experience required — though a background in customer service or public speaking is a plus. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or trying it for the first time, you'll fit right in.
Time Commitment
We are looking for coverage on these specific dates af of now:
July 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23
Shifts split into mornings (8-12), Afternoons (12-4), and evenings (4-8) are available. Flexible shifts can be made available as well. Volunteers are asked to complete one day of training before their first shift.
Requirement
- Must be 18+
- Comfortable with light outdoor activity during membership collection steps
- Attendance at a one-day training session is required before the first shift
