I.M.P.A.C.T. has been created by Good News Project to inspire young people to become active leaders through service, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
Our club provides opportunities for students to identify needs within their community and work together to create meaningful solutions through volunteer projects, environmental initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations.
Each meeting will include a shared meal; providing students with time to connect with each other before planning or participating in service projects.
Goals:
· Encourage leadership through service.
· Foster compassion and civic responsibility.
· Promote environmental stewardship.
· Build relationships among students through shared service experiences.
· Connect students with local service opportunities.
Meet: First Thursday of each month, starting October 1st
Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Location: Good News Project @ 1106 North 5th Street Wausau, WI 54403
Eligibility
Open to all interested students regardless of background, beliefs, or previous volunteer experience. Additional volunteer opportunities are available outside regular meeting times. Students are encouraged, but never required, to participate in projects outside meeting times. Students would remain the primary decision-makers for projects whenever possible.
