Our residents love learning, listening, and connecting through music, stories, and engaging presentations. We’re looking for volunteers who enjoy sharing their talents and interests in a friendly, welcoming setting.
What You’ll Do
Share music or instruments
Lead sing‑alongs or simple group activities
Present travel stories or personal experiences
Offer talks on a variety of topics our residents love learning about many things
When
We aim to host speakers and entertainers once a month, but we can welcome up to four sessions per month across our four buildings: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Adult Day Center.
Time Commitment
Most visits last 1 to 1.5 hours.
Who Thrives in This Role
Accomplished musicians and experienced speakers
Teens or younger volunteers practicing public speaking or performance
Anyone excited to share something meaningful or fun
Requirements
Subject to a background check
Comfortable engaging with older adults in a supportive environment
